Simon Spence KC has secured convictions for attempted rape and attempted sexual assault by penetration.
The case involved the defendant meeting women in nightclubs with invitations back to where they were staying. Sleeping arrangements were meant to be in different parts of the same room but the defendant then proceeded to sexually assault the two victims whilst they were asleep.
The first incident took place in London in April 2018 with the second incident taking place in Cambridge in October 2019. Convictions were secured for attempted rape and attempted sexual assault by penetration.
He was sentenced to 10 years in jail on Friday 26 May after a 7-day trial at Peterborough Crown Court.
