Red Lion Chambers, “Crime Set of the Year 2021” are pleased to announce that we are accepting applications for tenancies for 2022.
RLC is a leading criminal set based in London and Chelmsford. We now house over 100 barristers, including 25 Queen’s Counsel and 16 Crown Court Recorders.
In 2021 we were awarded “Crime Set of the Year” by Chambers UK Bar Awards.
We are known for our strong reputation in complex and corporate crime, serious fraud and general crime. Our members prosecute and defend in high-profile cases at home and internationally. We also undertake inquiries, health and safety, environmental law, fire law, and professional discipline among other regulatory areas.
We are an inclusive set and committed to ensuring equality, diversity and inclusion within our ranks and the wider Bar. We encourage our members to participate in our outreach and social responsibility programmes and the mentoring of young students who are interested in joining the criminal Bar.
We will consider all applicants of any call, but particularly encourage those from barristers of 3 to 14 years standing, and/or those from under-represented groups within the profession.
