8 schools from the South of England will be taking part with around 100 students in attendance.
Michael Goodwin QC said: “On behalf of Red Lion Chambers we are proud to be sponsoring this Saturday’s South of England Young Citizens mock trial heat. It gives young people from diverse backgrounds a platform for public speaking and trial advocacy. It is also great experience for the students to gain a practical learning experience of the workings of the criminal justice system.”
The school engagement opportunity is run by the charity Young Citizens who celebrate their 30th year of making a difference to young people, empowering them to become active and informed citizens.
