Nicholas Hall secures acquittal in Nursing and Midwifery Council case

Nicholas Hall has successfully represented a nurse on multiple allegations of rape and sexual assault of a colleague at the Nursing and Midwifery Council.

After 2 days of detailed cross-examination of the complainant, and extensive submissions at half-time, the panel dismissed the majority of the rape and sexual assault charges. Then following the 10-day ‘fact-stage’ hearing, all remaining allegations against the client were found not proved.

A large part of Nicholas’s practice is dedicated to regulatory work in healthcare regulation, and in criminal regulatory cases. He has represented medical professionals on behalf of the Royal College of Nursing accused of sexual misconduct towards patients, colleagues and members of the public.
