Michael Epstein secures acquittal for theatrical agent involved in dangerous driving case

Michael Epstein has secured the acquittal of a theatrical agent charged with common assault and dangerous driving.

Paul Lyon-Maris had been accused of driving for 65ft with a YouTube cycling activist on the bonnet of his Range Rover at a junction in Regent’s Park, London. Mr Van Erp – who is known as “CyclingMikey” on social media is known for filming motorists, including ex-boxer Chris Eubank and film director Guy Ritchie. He filmed this particular incident using a head camera and a selfie stick.

The four-day trial took place at Southwark Crown Court with Paul Lyon-Maris acquitted of both offences.
