Kate Bex KC discusses knife crime on LBC

Kate Bex KC was invited by LBC Radio to provide her expertise to the Nick Ferrari Breakfast show following the stabbing in Leicester Square on 12th August.

During the interview, she explained the process that will follow for the man charged with attempted murder. She also touched on the broader issue of knife crime in the UK, analysing pre and post pandemic statistics and links to youth culture:

“About 20% of knife crime is committed by under 18s, which is then mirrored by the victims of knife attacks and those hospitalised.”
