Jack Talbot has defended one of four defendants in a £30 million EncroChat cocaine importation.
Ian Burr, pleaded guilty in October 2021 and was sentenced in April 2023 to 11 years’ imprisonment. Reporting of the case could not take place till after the trial of Ricci Galea, who was recently sentenced to 25 years’ imprisonment.
In total, four men were prosecuted for conspiring to supply nearly 300kg of cocaine that was found by police being unloaded in Purfleet, Essex. See video here: [YouTube]
