Genevieve Reed’s Client Acquitted in Murder Trial

Genevieve Reed, led by Michael Turner KC of Garden Court, successfully defended their client who was unanimously acquitted of murder at the Old Bailey.

The trial centred around the murder of 26-year-old Anselam Senaj who was stabbed and killed after being “forcibly stopped” in a taxi in Newham on 11 November 2023.

Four other men were found guilty in connection with the incident, two were convicted of murder and two were convicted of manslaughter.

Genevieve’s client was cleared of all charges.

Genevieve appears in the Crown Court and Court of Appeal on a range of serious and complex crime matters, including homicide, large scale drugs offences, human trafficking, serious violence & serious organised crime, particularly cases involving alleged gang association.
