Chambers is pleased to announce that Gillian Jones KC and Tom Forster KC have been elected joint Head of Chambers commencing Monday 2 October, 2023.
After 5 successful years, Antony Shaw KC decided to step down as the Joint Head of Chambers. During his tenure with Gillian Jones KC, RLC has enjoyed outstanding success as one of the leading criminal sets at the Bar winning Crime Set of the Year in 2021 (Chambers UK Bar Awards) and Chambers of the Year in 2019 (The British Legal Awards). With over 100 members and an annexe in Chelmsford, Chambers has grown as a result of their direction and guidance and successful handling of the challenges of Bar action, the COVID pandemic and overseeing the first refurbishment of 18 Red Lion Court in 25 years.
Gillian Jones KC and Tom Forster KC look forward to leading Chambers in a period of exciting change and opportunity.
