Acquittal in sexual assault case

Aneurin Brewer has secured the acquittal of a defendant charged with repeatedly sexually assaulting a female house guest. The case was particularly challenging due to the defendant suffering from severe autism with additional support required throughout the proceedings.

The trial took place at Southampton Crown Court with the jury delivering an unanimous acquittal within the hour.
