The 5th edition of Arlidge, Eady and Smith on Contempt to be published on the 31st May 2017

Originally authored by Anthony Arlidge QC, Sir David Eady and Prof ATH Smith, and part of the Sweet and Maxwell Common Law Library Series, this book is the leading text book on contempt of court and reporting restrictions. The 5th edition of the book is edited by Patricia Londono, and includes contributions from 1 Brick Court as well as the Rt Hon Lord Eassie, former Senator of the College of Justice.  It provides authoritative coverage of topics including juror offences, contempt in the face of the court, the protection of journalistic sources, strict liability contempt, and the law relating to reporting restrictions.
