Simon Spence KC was invited onto the Nick Ferrari show on Wednesday 2nd July to provide a legal overview following news that senior managers at Lucy Letby’s former hospital had been arrested on suspicion of gross negligence manslaughter.
While unable to comment on the specifics of a live investigation, Simon was asked to explain what the charge of gross negligence manslaughter means in law, including the concept of a breach of duty of care.
