Sentencing takes place in Ladbroke Grove Triple Shooting case involving fake Deliveroo rider

Sentencing took place on the 15th January at the Central Criminal Court (Old Bailey), where fake Deliveroo rider Jazz Reid was sentenced to a term of 38 years’ imprisonment and a further five years on extended licence for the attempted murder of a man and the wounding of his eight‑year‑old daughter in Ladbroke Grove, London. He was additionally convicted of wounding with intent and multiple firearms offences on two earlier occasions.

In November 2024, Mr Reid disguised himself as a Deliveroo rider and shot the victims whilst they were in a stationary vehicle with other family members.

On three occasions, Jazz Reid travelled from Uxbridge to Ladbroke Grove to carry out the shootings. He took steps to evade detection, including using hire vehicles and an electric bicycle, changing into a disguise and using burner phones that he later discarded.

The 6-week trial examined expert evidence relating to DNA, cell site, firearms analysis, gunshot residue, trajectory analysis, injury analysis, interpretation of lyrics and the results of an extensive police investigation.
