Sailesh Mehta succeeds in Court of Appeal – 1st July 2020

Sailesh Mehta successfully appeared in the Court of Appeal, responding to an appeal by one of the UK’s largest waste company. The case was said by the Appellant to be of great importance to a multi-billion pound industry. The Court gave guidance on admissible evidence, in a case involving prohibited shipments of household waste masquerading as waste paper. Sailesh has been involved in a series of cases that have clarified the boundaries of the law in this complex and developing area of international environmental regulation.
