Rosina Cottage QC joins The Sentencing Council

We are pleased to announce that The Lord Chancellor, in consultation with the Lord Chief Justice have appointed Rosina Cottage QC to The Sentencing Council. 

The Sentencing Council for England and Wales was set up in April 2010.  It was set up to promote greater consistency in sentencing, whilst maintaining the independence of the judiciary, aiming to increase the public’s understanding of sentencing.
