Rosina Cottage QC and Paul Evans successfully prosecute nine men who sexually exploited a young boy

Rosina Cottage QC and Paul Evans successfully prosecute nine men, who comitted sexual offences against a young boy in Birmingham. The men first found the victim begging in Birmingham city centre and from then on during 2009 and 2010 he was “sold like goods”. The boy first reported the events in 2009 and 2010, however his allegations were not investigated until he made a further complaint in 2012.

A three-month trial heard of a number of violent and sexual attacks committed against the teenager.
