Chambers is delighted to announce that His Majesty King Charles III, on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable David Lammy MP, and the Lady Chief Justice of England and Wales, the Right Honourable the Baroness Carr of Walton‑on‑the‑Hill, has appointed Hugh French and Aneurin Brewer as Recorders.
Hugh French will sit in Crime on the Midlands Circuit and Anuerin Brewer will sit in the Family jurisdiction on the South Eastern Circuit.
Chambers warmly congratulates Hugh and Aneurin on their well‑deserved recognition and wishes them every success as they take on these important judicial responsibilities alongside their continued practice as barristers.
