RL Consultant Sara Carnegie has been shortlisted in 3 categories at this year’s “Women and Diversity in Law Awards” which include “Woman of the Year”, “Mentor of the Year” and “Diversity Equality and Inclusion Champion of the Year in a Specialist Role”.
Hosted by The Global Legal Post, the inaugural Women and Diversity in Law Awards will take place in London on 22 March 2023. The Awards celebrate those that have dedicated their professional careers in using their position of influence to help facilitate change. The Awards showcase role models who are inspiring people from under-represented groups and the initiatives that are making a difference.
Sara currently leads a team of lawyers running projects at an international NGO. Working with members and external stakeholders including the United Nations (notably the UNODC), the Organisation for Economic Co-Operation and Development (OECD), World Bank and European Union institutions, issues covered include anti-corruption, Judicial Integrity, Cybersecurity, Whistleblowing, Modern Slavery, Rule of Law, Bullying and Sexual Harassment, Gender Equality and Mental Wellbeing. She is a trustee at “Under One Sky”- a volunteer-led not-for-profit set up to support vulnerable communities in society, a mentor at the Kalisher Trust.
She said: ” I am delighted and honoured to have been nominated for these awards among such an incredible list of women. It is great to see recognition for the brilliant and life changing legal work that all these incredible women do.”
