Riel Karmy- Jones QC announced speaker at Careers in Criminal Law Panel Event

Riel Karmy-Jones QC will join a panel event looking at ‘Careers in Criminal Law’ hosted by ‘Women and Non-Binary People in Law Society’. The event will take place on Friday 30th April at 5.30pm.

Before coming to the Bar, Riel trained and worked as a theatre director, which not only informed her understanding of the psychology of witnesses and defendants but has also helped to make her an exceptionally jury friendly advocate.

Her work includes murder, serious organised crime, and sexual offences, particularly cases involving vulnerable witnesses and is particularly well known for her work in the field of Human Trafficking and Modern Slavery

Riel will be joined by a panel of varied speakers, with a range of specialisms and experience in Criminal Law.
