Before coming to the Bar, Riel trained and worked as a theatre director, which not only informed her understanding of the psychology of witnesses and defendants but has also helped to make her an exceptionally jury friendly advocate.
Her work includes murder, serious organised crime, and sexual offences, particularly cases involving vulnerable witnesses and is particularly well known for her work in the field of Human Trafficking and Modern Slavery
Riel will be joined by a panel of varied speakers, with a range of specialisms and experience in Criminal Law. The line up includes Alejandra Llorente Tascon, Barrister at Pump Court Chambers; Grace Kalie, Criminal Paralegal at Sonn Macmillan Walker; Jade Sodipo, Pupil Barrister at the Crown Prosecution Service; Diana Wilson, Barrister at the 36 Group, Meeno Chawla, Paralegal at the Crown Prosecution Service and Reanne Anthony, Trainee Solicitor at Fellowes Solicitors.
