Riel Karmy-Jones KC Appointed as next CBA Vice-Chair

The Criminal Bar Association (CBA) is pleased to announce the appointment of Riel Karmy-Jones KC as the next CBA Vice-Chair.

Riel Karmy-Jones, who has chaired the CBA’s RASSO (Rape and Serious Sexual Offences) Group, will assume her new role on September 1, 2024. She will be supporting the incoming Chair, Mary Prior KC of 36 Group Chambers.

Riel Karmy-Jones KC brings a wealth of experience and a distinguished career to her new position. As a leading silk at Red Lion Chambers, she has an extensive practice in Murder & Manslaughter, Serious Organised Crime, Sexual Offences and Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking, particularly cases involving vulnerable witnesses and defendants.
