The RLC mini‑pupillage scheme is now open for 2026 applications. It offers non‑assessed placements of two to five days, giving prospective barristers meaningful insight into life at the Criminal Bar and the work of our members in London.
We operate two intakes each year with a single application window covering both. The first intake runs in May–June and the second in September–October.
Chambers is committed to widening access to the Bar and upholding principles of equality, diversity and inclusion. Our mini‑pupillage scheme forms part of that commitment, and we will make reasonable adjustments for mini‑pupils where required.
Applications will close at 2pm on Friday 20 March.
Applicants must be 18 years or over and should submit a covering letter and CV to: mini.pupillage@18rlc.co.uk (Please note that an unsuccessful mini‑pupillage application has no bearing on the outcome of any future pupillage application)
