Michael Goodwin KC and Trevor Archer successfully prosecute Deliveroo gunman who shot 8 year old girl and two others

November 7, 2025

A man who disguised himself as a Deliveroo rider has been convicted following a spree of shootings in Ladbroke Grove that began with a man being shot twice at his doorstep and ended with an 8-year-old girl and her father being shot whilst inside a stationary vehicle with other family members. On three occasions, Jazz Reid travelled from Uxbridge to Ladbroke Grove to carry out the shootings. He took steps to evade detection, including using hire vehicles and an electric bicycle, changing into a disguise and using burner phones that he later discarded.

The convictions followed a 6-week trial that examined expert evidence relating to DNA, cell site, firearms analysis, gunshot residue, trajectory analysis, injury analysis, interpretation of lyrics, and the results of an extensive police investigation.

Jazz Reid was convicted of attempted murder, wounding with intent, and firearms offences. He will be sentenced on 5 January 2026.
