Max Hill QC delivers training on terrorism law and practice to the Public Prosecutors Office of the Sultanate of Oman

Head of Chambers Max Hill QC flew to Muscat 25th-29thJanuary 2014, to deliver training on terrorism law and practice to the Public Prosecutors Office of the Sultanate of Oman. Working alongside Bar Council representatives Mark Muller QC and Amanda Pinto QC, Max Hill delivered three days of training including the collection and presentation of evidence in major terrorism trials, using his unrivalled experience prosecuting such cases since 2003, including R v Ibrahim the 21 July 2005 bombing trials, and representing the Metropolitan Police Service at the Coroner’s Inquests in to the London Bombings of 7 July 2005.

 

Mr Hill said ‘this was an exceptional opportunity to compare legislative regimes in our respective countries, and to discuss terrorism in all its forms with fellow lawyers.’
