Marilyn Vitte secures acquittals on all counts in murder and attempted murder trial

Following a 5 week trial at the Old Bailey Marilyn Vitte led by Claire Davies KC secured the acquittal of her client, a rapper, who was 19 at the time of the alleged offences.

He and another had faced murder, manslaughter, attempted murder and s18 offences. He was the only defendant to be acquitted of all counts.

Marilyn’s client had been charged following the stabbing of another young man in the back multiple times during a knife fight, with a second man sustaining life threatening injuries. The client subsequently fled the jurisdiction but was arrested upon entering the UK at Heathrow Airport.
