Kate Bex KC appeared on LBC News this morning (26 March) providing expert legal commentary in response to growing public calls for longer sentences in serious cases of violence.
Speaking with Nick Ferrari on the Breakfast Show she explained how sentencing decisions are determined on a case by case basis and that when a minimum term is passed the offender is not entitled to early release.
