Joshua Ellis has secured an unanimous acquittal in case of prison officer charged with misconduct in public office.
Joshua represented a prison officer who had been charged with misconduct in public office after he allowed two prisoners into another prisoner’s cell which resulted in the prisoner being assaulted and robbed. The Crown also alleged that the defendant refused to report the incident.
Following a 10 day trial at Maidstone Crown Court, Joshua secured a unanimous not guilty verdict.
