Jonathan Fisher KC secures settlement in Unexplained Wealth Order proceedings

Jonathan Fisher KC acted for a client facing an Unexplained Wealth Order, which had been pursued as a precursor to potential civil recovery proceedings under Part 5 of POCA in the High Court concerning assets valued in the multi‑millions.

Jonathan Fisher KC prepared detailed submissions seeking the discharge of the UWO. Constructive discussions were subsequently opened with the National Crime Agency, leading to a negotiated settlement.

By consent, a Recovery Order under Part 5 POCA was agreed and made in November 2025.
