Jamie Sharma: UK Covid-19 Inquiry Module 5 report published
The report for Module 5 of the UK Covid-19 Inquiry has now been published. Jamie Sharma, who has served as Junior Counsel to the Inquiry since 2022, contributed to the module and has worked on the Inquiry since its inception.
Module 5 examined the procurement and distribution of key healthcare equipment and supplies during the pandemic, including PPE and ventilators, across the four nations of the United Kingdom. The report sets out the Inquiry’s findings and recommendations following its investigation into the procurement and distribution of these essential supplies during the pandemic. Jamie Sharma was also instructed in Module 1 of the UK Covid-19 Inquiry which examined pandemic preparedness and the award of public procurement contracts totalling billions of pounds during the crisis.
