Four defendants plead guilty in Golders Green arson case

Four defendants have pleaded guilty at the Old Bailey to their involvement in the arson attack that destroyed four ambulances belonging to Jewish volunteer emergency service Hatzola. The case is prosecuted by Leo Seelig.

The fully stocked ambulances, each valued at around £250,000, were set alight in March in Golders Green, causing approximately £1 million in damage. The blaze and resulting explosions also damaged nearby property, including a synagogue and flats.

The defendants are due to be sentenced in 2027 following the trial of a fifth defendant.
