Felicia Davy has secured convictions on multiple counts of Rape of a Child under 13 years and Child Cruelty at Guildford Crown Court.  The trial, which lasted 4 weeks, involved six young, vulnerable child complainants all under the age of 13 at the time and some with learning or behavioural difficulties who were in the defendant’s care from infancy.  Sentencing the defendant to a total of 32 years’ imprisonment, the trial judge described the period of abuse as a “reign of terror”.  Four of the children had been placed in the defendant’s care by Social Services, having previously been removed from their own parents following concerns regarding drug abuse, violence and neglect.
