Following a trial at Harrow Crown Court, Dan Taylor has secured the acquittal of a male charged with causing grievous bodily harm with intent.
It was alleged that Dan’s client was one of three men responsible for a brutal and sustained knife attack at a house party, in which the complainant sustained life-threatening injuries. Following Dan’s cross-examination, during which the complainant departed significantly from his witness statement in terms of the alleged involvement of Dan’s client, the prosecution reviewed the case against the defendant. Having done so, the Prosecution concluded that there was no longer a realistic prospect of conviction in the case against Dan’s client.
A not guilty verdict was returned by the jury, on the direction of the trial judge.
Dan is regularly instructed in cases of serious organised violence, including offences of murder, attempted murder and GBH. Read more: [Dan Taylor Profile]
