Anita Clifford joins Financial Crime Conference

RLC member Anita Clifford joins the Financial Crime Conference panel discussion on 19th June to discuss the Uyghur decision and its implications for MLROs and Nominated Officers.

Anita has worked alongside the Global Legal Action Network (GLAN) and on behalf of the World Uyghur Congress since 2021 and challenged the NCA’s decision to not investigate suspected breaches of the POCA over cotton imports from Xinjiang, China.
