Adam Wiseman successfully defends in fatal road traffic case

Adam Wiseman secured an acquittal at Chelmsford Crown Court for a defendant charged with causing death by careless driving. The defendant, Jason Walmsley, had performed a U-turn across a single carriageway and collided with a motorcycle causing immediate death to the rider. The trial was attended each day by the family and friends of the deceased and a number of the jury were in tears as they returned their ‘not guilty’ verdict.
