Valerie Charbit, Wellbeing Director at the CBA and Head of Wellbeing at Red Lion Chambers joins the panel discussion on Wellbeing at the Bar hosted by Aspiring Barristers. The event takes place on Thursday 5th May from 6.30pm-8pm.
Guest speakers will discuss the importance placed on wellbeing at the Bar, passing on their practical tips in tackling wellbeing related issues. Discussion topics include:
• Support mechanisms for students and legal professionals struggling with their mental health or general wellbeing
• Stress management
• Imposter Syndrome
• Building resilience and bouncing back from rejection
• Building momentum when applying for pupillage
Valerie is joined by Victoria Wilson (Family Barrister at Goldsmith Chambers, 2020 Chair of the Wellbeing at the Bar Working Group and Chair of the FLBA Wellbeing Subcommittee) and Bill Cunningham (Psychologist, Mental Health First Aid Trainer and Co-Founder of the Workplace Wellbeing Academy)
The event has been organised by AB University Ambassador Heather Gordon and will be hosted by AB University Ambassador Clara Jennings.
