Jane Oldfield, Deputy Head of RLC’s Education and Training Committee, was featured in The Times Student Law article: “Pupillage interview pitfalls: barristers’ tips for first‑round success.”
With hundreds of aspiring barristers competing for limited pupillage places the article looks at the most common mistakes candidates make and how they can genuinely stand out. Jane Oldfield comments:
“Don’t be afraid to let your personality shine through. Be your authentic self and you will be more comfortable in interview and will be more likely to impress.”
