Chambers are delighted to announce that we have been shortlisted for “Chambers of the Year” at The Lawyer Awards 2022.
The Lawyer Awards’ judging panel features 75 industry experts from The Bar, Private Practice and in-house sectors with winners announced on the evening of Tuesday 21st June 2022 at the Grosvenor House Hotel in London.
In 2021, RLC were awarded “Crime Set of The Year” at the Chambers UK Bar Awards. A leading set in criminal and regulatory law RLC are home to 107 barristers, including 25 Queen’s Counsel and 14 members who sit as a Recorders of the Crown Court. From 2020-2021 three RLC members were appointed silk, following on from three members appointed in 2019. In 2018, six of our members took silk, which is a record at the Bar in any set and in any sector of work. RLC continues to champion women at the Bar, promoting diversity through our outreach programme with ELBA and developing health and wellbeing initiatives throughout our membership.
Following 25 years of being based at 18 Red Court, Chambers has undertaken its first extensive refurbishment of the building. The newly created spaces will house 4 more comfortable conference rooms; 6 virtual court hearing rooms, and flexible working facilities with state-of-the-art digital technology throughout the building.
