RLC awarded ‘Crime Set of the Year’ 2021

Red Lion Chambers have been awarded “Crime Set of The Year” at the Chambers UK Bar Awards which took place on Thursday 18 November at Old Billingsgate, London. The Awards reflect achievements over the past 12 months including outstanding work, impressive strategic growth and excellence in client service. They honour the work of Chambers across the country based on the research for the recent edition of Chambers UK Bar.

2021 has seen RLC and its members go from strength to strength navigating their busy practices during court closures and the pandemic. In the latest Chamber and Partners rankings, 6 new members achieved rankings with a total of 37 members ranked across 11 practice areas. RLC is widely regarded as a leading set in 11 practice areas consisting of Crime, International Criminal Law, Financial Crime, Corporate Crime, Private Prosecutions, Financial Services, Civil Fraud, Tax, Professional Discipline, Health and Safety and Environment. In the latest Chambers and Partners Directory RLC were recognised as having “some of the finest expertise at the Bar” and “as a first port of call for heavyweight criminal and fraud cases”. Former members include High Court and Crown judges, the current Director of Public Prosecutions, Chief Coroner, The Recorder of London, Director of the SFO and a General Counsel to the SFO.
