Rachel Shepherd

Rachel Shepherd joined Chambers as a Fees Clerk in February 2016 and brings more than 30 years’ experience to the role, having begun her clerking career in 1994 and specialised in fees throughout that time.

Rachel supports the Head of Fees and works closely with the wider clerking team, Practice Directors and members. Her responsibilities include billing, fee claims, appeals, payment summaries and the maintenance of accurate case records, with a particular focus on monitoring and managing aged debt.

Rachel also assists members with fee-related queries and liaises with solicitors, courts and external organisations as required. Her extensive experience and specialist knowledge help ensure fee processes are managed efficiently, accurately and in accordance with relevant regulations.
