Noel Casey, who sits as a Recorder on the Western and South Eastern Circuits, having been selected by the European Judicial Training Network, has just completed a judicial training seminar in Strasbourg at the European Court of Human Rights, designed for judges from many European jurisdictions, concerned with the work of the Registry and Jurisconsult, the criteria for hearing and adjudicating upon cases, and with the operation in particular of the Grand Chamber, with a view to the seminar participants disseminating that knowledge within their own jurisdictions in due course.
