Michael Goodwin QC secures acquittal

Michael Goodwin QC has secured the acquittal of his client, who was tried at Maidstone Crown Court for offences of serious domestic violence.

The prosecution had alleged 3 months of sustained physical violence and abuse, persistent battering, and the causing of serious injuries including a fractured jaw to the complainant.

The defence case preparation had involved the complex investigation and piecing together of social media and digital evidence from multiple sources, for presentation at trial.
