Letitia Egan (being led by Tom Nicholson of 2 Harcourt Buildings) has been instructed in the prosecution of Elton Charles, the son-in law of Lord Chris Patten of Barnes.

Elton Charles, an ex-florist, is alleged to have acted as a getaway driver in a shooting that took place in a Punjabi restaurant in Greenford involving his half brother.

He has been charged with conspiracy to possess a firearm with intent to cause fear of violence.

2 other defendants Nicholas Grant, 46 and Lee Morgan, 42 have denied a charge of conspiracy to possess a firearm with intent to cause fear of violence.

Charles’s half-brother, 48-year-old Nathaniel St Aimie has pleaded guilty to the same charges.
