Klentiana Mahmutaj writes in Counsel Magazine’s February issue

Coming from an Albanian background, Klentiana writes about access to the Bar and explores the issues of diversity, inclusivity and lack of privilege recounting her journey from Albania at a time of political tumult, to joining the Bar and being recently being appointed as a UN mandate holder. She writes:

“Ultimately, admission into ‘the club’ is not enough. It is the beginning of inclusion, which without more, it turns into mere tolerance and the obstacles are merely moved one step further back, leading to a two-tier profession”.
