David Malone successfully prosecutes a woman charged with causing or inciting a child to engage in sexual activity and arranging or facilitating the commission of a child sex offence.

16. Mar 2018

The defendant, a 26 year old woman, was convicted of having sexual intercourse with a 14 year old boy and one further count of arranging or facilitating a child sex offence.

The trial lasted 4-days at Woodgreen Crown Court.

Sentence has been adjourned pending the completion of a pre-sentence report although HHJ Greenberg QC, the trial judge, warned the defendant that a custodial sentence was inevitable.

David Malone, a specialist in rape and child sexual abuse, was instructed by the Crown Prosecution Service.
