Dan represented AK, who was charged with assisting an offender in a murder investigation.
It was alleged that AK had assisted in the “getaway” of the first and second defendants following a shooting in South-East London.
The Crown’s case asserted a carefully planned and sophisticated shooting/stabbing in two separate incidents in April 2021. The first three defendants were charged with murder/attempted murder. The Prosecution case against all defendants relied on a vast volume of complex material, including CCTV footage, substantial phone material and cell site evidence.
AK was acquitted following a 10 week trial.
