
Chambers are delighted to have been appointed to the Sport Resolutions Pro Bono Service.
The Pro Bono Legal Advice and Representation Service (“The Pro Bono Service”) originates and operates as a legacy of the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games. Members of the original London 2012 Pro Bono Legal Advice & Representation Service, operated by Sport Resolutions, assisted athletes, and others with Games accreditation, by providing pro bono legal advice on any Games related matter.
The service currently offers assistance in a number of areas of law including Anti-doping, Child safeguarding, Governance Adults at Risk and Integrity issues.
Valerie Charbit, Chair of the RLC Regulatory Practice Group said:
“Our members have extensive expertise in advising and representing before a number of regulators, including in the realm of sports. We are also dedicated to supporting those who are most vulnerable and in need of legal assistance and we are delighted to collaborate with Sports Resolution to offer pro bono representation to individuals with limited financial means and those who are in the greatest need.”
