This follows the public reaction to a recent Netflix documentary “Sweet Bobby” which follows the story of Kirat Assi and the emotional and psychological toll of Catfishing on its victims.
Vithyah examines the current legal landscape, analysing the laws and legislation designed to protect individuals from catfishing. She also explores the gaps in the Criminal Justice System pointing out areas where protections for victims remain insufficient.
