Caroline Baker and Anita Clifford have secured acquittals for two defendants charged with affray.
The offence was said to have taken place outside Clapham Junction Station and involved the use of weapons, including a concrete post and glass bottle.
A paramedic who was present during the incident gave evidence at trial. Following the close of the Crown’s case, Anita successfully submitted that there was no case to answer in respect of the second defendant. A unanimous not guilty verdict was subsequently returned in relation to the first defendant.
