Myria joined Red Lion Chambers as a first six pupil in September 2026 and is currently supervised by Emma Gargitter.

She holds a high distinction on the Bar Practice Course and a distinction on the GDL. She graduated with Honours from the University of Bristol, where she studied Economics and Finance, and she holds a Masters in Management from the London School of Economics and Political Science.

Before commencing pupillage, she worked at Hickman and Rose in the serious and general crime team. Her work encompassed a broad range of criminal matters, from common assault to domestic and sexual offences, including rape trials. She gained experience across all stages of criminal proceedings with a particular focus on the strategic and tactical considerations involved in building a defence.

Prior to this, she worked as a senior litigation paralegal supporting the legal team in Munícipio de Mariana and Ors v BHP, one of the largest group actions ever brought in England and Wales.

Myria brings over a decade of experience from the corporate and non-profit sectors, where she advised businesses, entrepreneurs and high-net-worth individuals internationally on matters including governance, succession planning and complex business challenges. She has held leadership and advisory roles across professional services and charitable organisations. She also has substantial experience working with vulnerable and marginalised communities through her pro bono and voluntary work.

Myria has volunteered with Lawyers Against Poverty, Vocalise, and the University of Law legal clinic. She is also a Governor of a special needs school and a committee member of Women in Criminal Law.
