Aneurin Brewer has secured an acquittal for MoD Police Chief Superintendent Chris Yates before Reading Crown Court.

The 57-year-old police superintendent was cleared of indecently exposing himself to a female cyclist, who claimed that the defendant had stalked her in his car before committing a sex act.

Supt. Chris Yates spent 37 years as a police officer spending time in London CID where he had received a long service and good conduct award, plus a special chief constable’s commendation.
Currently now providing armed protection at Aldermaston’s Atomic Weapons Establishment in Reading he vehemently denied allegations of indecent exposure citing health issues for his reason in being situated on the rural road in Chieveley.
The jury took 1 hour in deliberation to return a Not Guilty verdict.

Aneurin Brewer was instructed by Gary Rubin and Jo Kaucher at Blackfords LLP.
