Chambers is delighted to welcome new tenant Rosheen Iyer.
Rosheen regularly appears in cases involving violent crime, domestic allegations and sexual offences and is recognised for sensitive handling of vulnerable witnesses and young defendants.
Alongside her criminal practice, Rosheen has developed experience in professional discipline and regulatory work, including matters involving police misconduct and Sexual Risk Orders.
She also has a developing practice in public law and particularly in public inquiries. Since January 2023, she has served as junior counsel to the Independent Inquiry relating to Afghanistan, where she works on complex, sensitive material involving significant evidential lines of inquiry, national security issues, the preparation of Rule 9 requests and handling restriction orders and redactions.
We look forward to welcoming Rosheen and wish her every success in Chambers.
